About this Course

(Please note: Kids of all ages welcome accompanied by an adult) (Only one registration necessary per family unit). Join naturalists and outdoor enthusiasts Natasha and Cheryl for an exploration of Forests for the World Park. Discover what creatures live in Shane Lake, learn about the birds and mammals that call the park home, and find out what plants thrive in our northern climate. Short hikes, nature discovery, games, and a campfire on the final day! This program is for families, so children must be accompanied by an adult. Hikes will be no more than 2 kilometers in length with various stops along the way. Program starts at the parking lot trailhead.
